About Us

The photographs in this website are the work of Desikan Krishnan who has been in the field of photography for over 4 decades.

After his retirement from The Hindu newspaper as it’s picture editor he has concentrated on photo documentation of our temples and monuments.

Krishnan has shot over 600 temples, monuments and other heritage structures all over India.

Currently working on photo documentation of the forts in Tamil Nadu.

For The Hindu, Krishnan has covered sports at the highest level which includes The Olympics, Asian Games and The Cricket World Cup besides shooting every sport at the national or the international level.
