- Legend of Magasandhan munivar who was disturbed by Indran because Indra thought the penance is for his position.
- Magasandhar turned into an elephant and lived with them forgetting his true form.
- Visited temples as elephant itself. This elephant was a great devotee of Maha Vishnu and procured lotus flowers for Him. A crocodile (another cursed devotee of Lord) caught the elephants’s leg and it summoned the Lord as Adi Moolamae.
- Another legend is connected to Saraswathi who tried to stop Brahma’s Ashwamedha Yagnya by sending 8 demons which MahaVishnu crushed by appearing with 8 arms.
