Chandramouleeswarar Temple Brahmadesam

- There are totally 77 inscriptions in this temple. They belong both to Pallava and Choza era.
- Kambavarman’s 20th year rule is known from the temple. The rest belongs to Parantaka –I, Kannaradevan, Parthiventhiran, Rajarajan-I, Rajendran, Kulothungan.
- Rajendra Chozan lived and died here. His consort Queen Veeramadevi’s pallipadai is found nearby. She is known to have committed Sati along with Him.
