* Avatara kshetram of Sri Embar, cousin of Acharyan Ramanujar. Embar’s birth name is Govinda Bhattar.
* Embar is 4years younger to Ramanujar.
* Embar is considered incarnation of Periya Thiruvadi(Garudan)/Vainatheya.
* Maduramangalam is also known as Mazhalaimangalam
* Embar Moorthy is seen adorned with the pendant chain gifted by Ramanujar.
* Embar helped save Ramanujar from a murder attempt by Yadavaprakasar students. (Yadavaprakasar was guru to both Embar and Ramanujar).
* Embar practised Shaivam for sometime before moving to Vaishnavism. He was the Ullankai Konarndha Naayanar practising Shaivam at Kaalahasthi.
* He was transformed by hearing Nammazhwar pasuram recited and explained by Thirumalai Nambigal.
